today's a happy day :)

had oysters and seafood platter at manhattan's fish market today. with my parents :) and got a new phoneeeee. finally, i can throw the remote control hp back into the depths of my drawers. learning to count my blessings :)

i know. i know i have been superbly blessed. materialistically, academically, financially. i seldom had to go through the feeling of being poor although i always complained that i am. yes poor, but still able to feed myself, able to have a little bit of fun with friends. but sometimes..

i need to learn to count my blessings. and be satisfied with them.

sorry for the lag haha..been rather busy lately. anyway without further ado i shall continue! :)beware, loadsa photos coming up!

so anyway, after that bali stunt we took approximately 4hours to reach the cold freeziingggg melbourne.


and finally we arrive at melbourne!

anyway we got ticked off for taking pictures at the airport cos.. well, he said we weren't allowed to. *shrugssss* alright then. haha. because this charz dad is like the ceo of ascott, we were given special rates to stay at the somerset serviced apartments in both melbourne and sydney, and even have people to send us to and fro the apartment and airport.

so yup, this man by the name of arthur (not author charz! haha :P) were waiting for us and off we went to our apartment!

cos of some buggers onboard the plane i barely gotten any sleep and though it was 6plus melb time it was only 4plus sg time and i was sooooo slpy. so we thought we might be able to catch a lil shuteye before heading out for the day but we were so busy exploring the apartment that the sleepiness wore off and we ended up really quite tired by the end of the day.

anyway on to the day's events!

bracing the cold air, we left to catch some breakfast before meeting up with swi's friend who took us shopping! i seem to can't stop using those exclamation marks haha. !!!!!!!!!!!

after breakfast, we embarked on our shopping expedition! first to victoria market where we saw some pretty interesting stuff but didn't stay for long there. the money really started to go ka-ching! along the streets of..ok i'm sorry i forgot the street name already haha. its just 2 super loooooooong streets of shops, shops, cafes, and more shops! oh yea and we took the tram! hehheh quite fun arh.

after a few hours of walking around we were feeling quite tired already, plus the lack of sleep and all that. so decided to settle for lunch in this nice little cafe where i had yummy hot chocolate! :)

after which we walked around abit more before finally deciding it's time to head back via the tram. and btw, the shopping was really good for a first day la haha. i felt like i spent so much but who knows, that was just the beginning..

so we invited april up to our apartment and lazed around taking silly videos of charz and her bimbo-ness. i was so tired i just fell asleep on the chair in the midst of talking to them. but woke up shortly after. thennnnn we proceeded to send april downstairs and went to convenience stores to settle our dinner.

here's the long awaited aussie trip post you have been waiting for! (now weijie can stop grumbling.. hahaa)

so anyway, i was late to reach the airport to meet my 3 lovely travelling companions swi, charz & bloo! (short for bimbo loo) haha not my fault! cos my dad la, super seng nang then slowly take his time.. but anyway, i was there in good time la :)

so after some goodbyes we left to board the plane!

so anyway the travel agency told us before that we would be travelling via qantas but who knows those people put us on australian airlines instead! well what could we do right since the tickets are already booked and all that.

and guess what. instead of flying straight to melbourne like we thought we would, the agency pulled another stunt and put us on a transit flight to bali, before reaching melbourne. !!!

so we arrived at bali airport about 3hours later. the transit lounge was quite.. pathetic. i think the total length was about 100-150m maybe? we walked a whole 2 rounds in like 15mins before finally grabbing some dirty looking seats to wait for our flight. right opposite a prada shop which looks quite..imitation-ish. haha

anyway half an hour later we finally were on our way to melbourne!

i'm back once again. freaaaaak. xia ri feng got thru. WHAT THE *toot*! and i was on the sofa chanting "xia ri feng pls get voted out, pls!"

going bonkers. off for gd now.

in the midst of watching the superband results now, and xia ri feng is in the bottom five. milu bing and j3 got thru to the next round! rocks haha.

i just wish that xia ri feng can be voted out tonight. seriously. THEY CAN'T SING FOR NUTS. esp the girls. i missd tonight's show, but when they were doing the flashbacks of the performances tonight, just 5 seconds of xia ri feng's performance is enough to repulse me. goodness. they got the lowest tonight i think, 19/40. how they managed to stay all the way till now really eludes me. i just wish they can be voted out tonight so that the other better bands have more chances at winning and we won't have to be tortured by them no more. argh another time i have to endure their horrible singing i will just pull all my hair out.

okay thats it. ima offfffffffffff :)

and guess what me just watched the results from tonight's competition. jade got voted out! and they sang mayday's jue jiang just now and THE LEAD SINGER GOT THE LYRICS WRONG. rarrrr.

watching harry potter on tv just now makes me feel so nostalgic. they were all so cuuuuuteee and youngggg and innocent in their first movie, and suddenly it's like they're all grown up now!! harry and hermione were really cute la! haha.

oh yea watched superband also too. never thought that i will get interested in watching it. all the project superstar campus superstar totally like didn't catch my attention at all. but seriously, some bands are really quite good. not just the ones who play their own instruments, but those who only sing, esp the all malay band juz b. they're really really zai!

okay im like totally rambling on and on. any excuse to keep me from studying! haha. 1 more paper and i'm free. then its AUSSIE HERE I COME!
