reading through all my friends' blogs and i see many blogging about year 2004 and stuff. you know, the wrapping up of the year and welcoming of a new year. makes me feel obliged to blog something about it too. haha.


2004. who would have thought that earthlings would survive into the 4th year of the 21st century. when so many (fake) prophesies about 2000 being the end of the world were spreading like wildfire.


working for the first half of the year made me learn and realise many new things. humans are ugly creatures under nice costumes of pretence. yes, me and you included. what is the world working so hard for? all for money? money. can money ever be more precious that the fragile human life.

first at marche, then as a Lancome promoter, next as a recruitment consultant at Recruit Express. all but one i thank God for. recruit express. where i spent 2 months laughing and slacking and pretending to work with dot, fel and andrea.

fel -- we were once close but somehow drifted apart. i hope that in the new year, we would drift towards each other again. :)

dot-- someone i didn't really hang out with in school. but surprisingly, we hit it off quite well in RE. and now, she's someone i really care for and thank God for. love you LOTS.

andrea-- thinking of her makes me wanna laugh. friends drift in and out of my life. but this cow has drifted in and has not left. you better stay FOR GOOD. *muacks



then, school started. it changed my perception of many things. no more am i in the sheltering walls of PL, or even in the protective walls of SR. have to learn to fend for myself. learn to deal with fake and people who doesn't wanna know you for who you are. but all these baddies aside, God is indeed graceful and has blessed me with 2 wonderful buddies, kat and mish.


not only them, but a whole bunch of crazy og mates which i really am thankful for. school has been so much more fun with them around.


and the best thing that happened this year: i finally went back to YM and have been there for half a year already. and i'm happy!! knowing God has never felt so good before. and YM rocks. totally. heh.

met many new people like mini marcus, hungry lawrence so many more. patched back my old friendships with people like jacob sucks!, bassking xian, disgusting xiang. haha i have never felt so more blessed in my life. this is the year.


much as i want to hold on to the wonderful memories of it, i guess overtime i would gradually loosen my hold on it. so that new happy memories from 2005 can fit in.

xmas went by in a flurry. i expect the same for new year too.

why is it that it is always during this festive season, do love spread its viruses all around everyone? must be because of the dreamy mood one gets when dreaming about spending xmas with a special someone.

or something like that lar.

seems like more than a few of friends of mine have been bitten by the love bug. heh *winks*


2005 spells the beginning of a new year. which equals to the start of 2nd semester in school. which i totally dread. i pray and hope that it would be a better one that i had the previous semester. pls God.

xmas is a season of giving? maybe. of loving? definitely.
i have never had the habit of buying xmas gifts for my family. but as of this year, i shall start giving them xmas prez. :)

no matter how old you are, i'm sure there's always this element of surprise and anticipation when you tear open a nicely wrapped gift yea? i want to give this element to my dearest family and friends. what's the point of saving up all my money to buy stuff that will make myself happy? i think i would be happier if i see my dearest ones happy. broke BUT happy :)

hopefully, this will show them that because God loves me, i want to love them and make them happy too. and to pray hard that, come one day, every single person in my family will love God too. that is my greatest xmas wish :)

okay i'm here to tell you guys that our church youth ministry will be putting up a dance and caroling performance in town tonight and on monday night.

ima gonna be caroling!! haha. we start at around 9plus i think. either outside tangs or at wisma. so if you're damn free and got nothing better to do, we want you to come down!

sometimes i really can't stand people who are ALWAYS always feeling sorry for themselves and always down in the dumps.

GET OVER IT.


even when your friend tries to pull you out of the dumps by offering his/her help, you refuse to accept it graciously but spit on the hand stretched out to you and asking him/her to f**k off.

scold me for being unsympathetic. why not scold them for being uncooperative and self-pathetically idiotic.

it's not that we don't empathize with you or that we don't wanna help you. it is YOU. you are the one who keeps putting yourself down no matter what people says. you are the one who refuses to face things with a big wide smile enough to scare ghosts away. YOU are the one who chose to hide in the pile of dumps thrown at you.

just 3 more words for you. GET OVER IT.
