and how can i forget the mayday concert in may!! ahhhhh so exciting to be able to hear thm perform live. wooohooo~
just got back from a shopping trip with my mum. i think she's feeling pretty generous today which i would say it's a good thing for me haha. she actually bought this purple gold and diamond ring and necklace from lee hwa. it was quite a bomb, tho' they were having a 50% discount so it's not too bad i think. in fact, should be quite a bargain. think i might psycho her into buying a new camera for me. ok. maybe just sponsor half la i'm not that meannnn haha.
and i really don't care if ben or whoever updates their friendster blogs. it's getting really irritating to receive the friendster alert emails!

you know, i really intended to only surf through the tv channels for awhile while eating my porridge. but then this movie came up.
i remember watching this movie back in jc, when huips and i started this habit of going to the library to watch movies during our free periods ever since we discovered that we could actually borrow movie vcds and watch it in the library. yea now you know why i was always failing in jc.
out of the few movies that we watched, only 2 left an impression. one was this japanese horror movie called kakashi which actually wasn't very horrifying after all, just kinda lame with no plot. the other was i am sam.
after watching it for the second time on tv, i was reminded of why i liked it so much. sean penn was amazing, and so was dakota fanning. i liked the way the movie was filmed. it was as if the characters in the movie were real, and they weren't really filming a movie, rather, more of a documentary. i liked the way how sean penn and dakota fanning were able to seemingly reach out to the audience, and in the process, touching them with the simplicity of love.
they're right. all you need is love.

oh. my. gosh.
i just met the most imbecile-y taxi driver. EVAR.
how can you not know where is boundary road.
how can you NOT know where is amk ave 1.
never mind. all these i can forgive you.
but how the hell can you NOT KNOW where is CTE?!?!?!
okay the thing is. char and i shared a cab home from school after our paper. to her house first, then my house. her place is at potong pasir, AT MOST a 10mins drive away from my house. and typically, it will cost around 15-16bucks shared between the both of us. and it takes us around half an hour to get home.
but guess how much i paid just now. a frigging 25bucks. it cost me an extra 10bucks cos of his lousy sense of direction and hearing. (when char dropped off it was 16bucks) and it took me a frigging hour and a half. just to get home from school. IN A CAB. which costs a frigging 25 bucks may i repeat again. the bus would have been cheaper and faster!
okay so maybe it's not his fault that we were caught in a jam from aye to cte. but after he dropped char, he just.. he just.. totally went the opposite direction from my house! my house is just off cte (amk) and boundary road. instead, he took off towards aljunied/paya lebar that direction. to get to braddell he says. then at braddell road, when i could've got home in 5mins, he went sraight instead of turning into cte which would bring me to my house.
he frigging went towards the toa payoh bishan area. i had to get him to turn into bishan and thus get home from there. and he almost went straight to amk instead of turning right towards my house. cos he claimed that i said amk just now.
yea i did. amk AVE frigging ONE.
URGHHHHH. those who drive and know how near potong pasir and my house is, you can go frigging scold off the taxi driver.
after i paid, he said "see you again!"
with a fake smile plastered on my face, words that went through my mind consist of "never in my life again", "no way man" etc. you get the idea.
URGH.

i know most people tend to procrastinate. before they really get down to doing something, they most likely will bump around doing nonsense first. okay maybe it's only me haha. but anyway. this is the exam period. which means people will rather blog surf cos they would rather do that than to face their notes. unless, of course, they are physically bonded to their notes already. which means my blog is being read now! which explains why i decided to blog a post before studying proper in order to entertain these people. so thoughtful right. haha (more like i rather blog than study)
how to prevent from losing your wallet 101:
1. when getting up a bus, always remember to put your wallet back in your bag after you tapped your ezlink card the minute you sit down.
2. before leaving any vehicle, always check to make sure your wallet is in your bag. or wherever that you put it.
3. same goes when you leave any place. after eating or paying for stuff etc.
4.do not throw your wallet in one distant corner when you're home. make sure you place it somewhere visible so you won't have a hard time finding it.
5. do not leave your wallet unattended wherever you are. pickpockets are everywhere! so are opportunists. who grab and run at a chance they get. actually, you can substitute wallet with anything else valuable, mp3 player etc, or most applicable in my case, your laptop.
6. if you're the kind of senseless person who doesn't realise when you drop something, you should attach a bell to your wallet. so that in case it drops, you can hear the bell and realise that you dropped your wallet. though it can get quite irritating, the frequent ringing of the bells.
7. if you're the kind of senseless person AND has a weak sense of hearing, i suggest you chain your wallet to yourself. cos you probably won't even notice the ringing of the bell on your wallet when it drops. (yes, that happened to me around 10years ago)
feel free to add on. i might just publish a book, having lost my wallet umpteen times before. but i am proud to add that i haven't lost my wallet in the past 3 years. but then again, having lost the laptop.. probably equals to having 300 wallets lost.
damn the thief.

blog blog blog.
why do people hanker after outer beauty? (me included, i admit) shouldn't we be trying to achieve perfection in inner beauty first? one of the many rhetorical questions that my brain churns out. well, if you have answers, kindly provide me with them! :)
7 days to impending doom.
I WILL MAKE IT

a truckload of things i wanna say. but no one to say it to. what's the point of having so many msn contacts when there are hardly any you can bare your soul to?
an uneasy intuition. a frightful thought. i hope i'm wrong. i really hope so.
